OUR OCTOBER 20 CHAPEL CONCERT features three outstanding ensembles from nearby Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Mass.
The Mount Holyoke Chorale, Glee Club, and Chamber Singers present music from their fall choral concert, “Of Love and Longing.” Lecturer in Music and Director of Choral Activities, Dr. Colin Britt said, “Sacred and secular choral works by Johannes Brahms, Maurice Duruflé, Craig Hella Johnson, Shara Nova, Sarah Rimkus, and Eric Whitacre” will be performed.
The Mount Holyoke student groups are conducted by Dr. Colin Britt and Clara Kakuk.
THE NOVEMBER 3 CHAPEL CONCERT at Providence Place showcases the award-winning Choirs and Orchestra from nearby Longmeadow High School (LHS) in Longmeadow, Mass.
The LHS Music Department has a rich history of proven excellence.
This year’s program “Offers a sampler of our 2024-2025 season,” said Music Department Chair and Vocal Music Teacher Kayla Werlin. “Performing in the magnificent Chapel at Providence Place is always a great experience for students.”
Kayla teams up with Colleague Arthur Thovmasian, current LHS Band and Orchestra Director, for this collaborative 2024 event. And we at Providence Place are excited to welcome you back!
PROVIDENCE PLACE’S DECEMBER 8 CHAPEL CONCERT features a returning favorite — The Choirs of Trinity United Methodist Church from Springfield, Mass.
Always a favorite with our Community of Family and Friends. Plan now to join us!
