OUR SPRING 2025 schedule of Chapel Concerts features outstanding local talent! Save the dates and plan to attend on March 2, April 6, and also on May 18. These talented musicians are hard-at-work right now — putting together new programs not to be missed.

Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel at Providence Place — the heart of our home and an artistic gem —  is an acoustically superb concert venue. Providence Residents, their families, friends and the public are invited to attend. Chapel Concerts begin at 2 PM and parking is free.

Our Community has been welcoming Residents and Friends of all faiths and spiritual traditions for more than 25 years! We look forward to seeing you this Spring!

Spring 2025 Series

MARCH 2, 2025

OUR MARCH 2 KICKOFF Event features returning favorite Tamila Azadaliyeva. Tamila was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, where she attended the Uspensky Music School, affiliated with Tashkent State Conservatory, for gifted children. She will present a Piano Solo program featuring masterworks by Haydn, Chopin, Schumann, Liszt, Debussy, as well as lesser known works by Mompou.

APRIL 6, 2025

PROVIDENCE PLACE’S APRIL Chapel Concert features the dynamic Roberts and Nix Duo. Shelley Roberts, soprano, an Active Member Vocalist with Springfield’s Tuesday Morning Music Club, and well-known musician Michael Nix, classical guitar and banjo, team up to perform an amazing selection of songs and solos from England, Spain and America.

MAY 18, 2025

THE WILBRAHAM MEN’S GLEE CLUB wraps up our Spring 2025 Concert Series on May 18. Come enjoy the Wilbraham Choral Society Men’s Glee Club, conducted by Ray Drury and accompanied by Marcia Jackson and Todd Rovelli.

The group has entertained appreciative audiences throughout the Pioneer Valley for more than three decades! This year’s program is widely varied, consisting of challenging contemporary music, spirituals, patriotic works and popular songs from Billy Joel, “The Beatles” and Walt Disney’s, “The Lion King.”
